Get Connected

HBA’s Big-Little Program pairs incoming freshman students with an older Canfield BHP student to offer guidance and help students get acclimated to college life. We strongly encourage you to sign up for the Big-Little Program using this form. You will be assigned your mentor at the end of the summer.

Have any questions?? Whether you’re curious about your freshman classes (BA 324H, M 408Q, etc.), student orgs, football Saturdays, or anything else, we have upperclassmen waiting to answer your questions. Use this form to submit questions anonymously, and we’ll post the answers on our Insta page: @texashba.

Get Involved — Leadership Development Program

HBA’s Leadership Development Program empowers freshman students to become leaders and gain valuable experience by joining one of our seven committees: alumni relations, communications, corporate relations, external affairs, financial, internal relations, and social.

As an associate in our Leadership Development Program, you’ll gain several marketable skills that will translate to internships and jobs: large-scale event planning, marketing/promotion, fundraising, budgeting, public speaking, etc.

Associates will also receive extensive networking opportunities with professors, staff, alumni, and corporate recruiters, and they will be directly involved in building the culture and community of Canfield BHP. Additionally, through our Associate Retreat and other events, our associate cohort will serve as its own small community as students start their four years at UT. (Other perks include free Canfield BHP / HBA merch and padfolios.)

Associates will be chosen through a competitive application process. Applications will be available once Fall semester starts, so please check the website frequently to know when to apply!
