Liam Stemetzki | American Airlines

Meet Liam, a Canfield BHP junior who is double majoring in MIS. If you’ve flown on a plane this summer, there’s a chance Liam played a role in determining your flight schedule through his American Airlines internship. 

Here’s what he had to say: “I’m currently interning in the Network Planning department at American Airlines, where I’m preparing AA’s schedule in Miami. It’s been super interesting to hear about the thousands of decisions that go into making a schedule before a flight boards its first passenger.”

Hi I’m Shreya! I’m a senior double majoring in the Canfield Business Honors Program and Finance with a minor in the Analytics and Business of Sports. I’m a Corporate Banking Summer Analyst at JP Morgan this summer. I’ve enjoyed my time learning about the deal process and understanding how to build client relationships.

gurpreet singh | Ringer Sciences

Meet Gurpreet Singh, a Canfield BHP sophomore who is double majoring in MIS. After recently completing STA 301H, MIS 301H, and MIS 304, Gurpreet has gained real-world experience in data analytics and information systems during his internship with Ringer Sciences, a data science and analytics consulting firm.

Here’s what he had to say: “I've had the opportunity to work on diverse projects, such as improving C-suite executive visibility, analyzing alumni engagement for a university, and conducting social intelligence analysis for a major credit card issuer. I enjoy analyzing and visualizing multiple data sources and witnessing how my insights contribute to client projects across various industries.”
