P(ainting)WAA: Melissa Beaver
HBA got in touch with their creative side on Saturday painting pottery with alumna Melissa Beaver at Cafe Monet. Now working at Dell, Melissa talked about her internship experiences, involvement at UT, and love for HBA. (Fun fact: she served on HBA Exec Board for two years while at UT!)
The artwork ranged from simple to elaborate, from Nicole and Amy's matching bowls for their apartment to Omar's ocean-themed plate to James' appropriately colored vase (that, as someone pointed out, bore a striking resemblance to its creator). Whatever the end product, students had a great time relaxing, painting, and chatting!
